Sinulog Festival in Cebu City

SINULOG FESTIVAL is an annual celebration held every third Sunday of January in Cebu City. It honors the vision of the child Jesus (Sto. Niño) who used to be the patron saint of the city. There is a dance ritual that commemorates the Cebuano people’s Islamic and pagan origin, and their acceptance of Roman Catholicism. The festival features street parade wherein participants in bright colored costumes dancing to the rhythm of drums, trumphets and native gongs.

Charice live @ Araneta Coliseum

Araneta Coliseum was flanked by more than 10,000 fans during the highly successful “DAVID FOSTER & FRIENDS LIVE IN MANILA” concert last Saturday. Charice wowed the crowd with her versions of “Power of Love,” “To Love You More,” “All By Myself,” “Pyramid” and “The Bodyguard.” She also performed with Natalie Cole, the Canadian Tenors, Peter Cetera and Ruben Studdard. The group rendered their final production number to honor Michael Jackson.
